Hello all!
First, thank you for expressing interest in my writing endeavors. As an aspiring author, I am grateful for followers like yourself as I pursue my dream of publishing a book.
That being said, I am happy to announce that I am working on a new book project! I began the rough draft on Thursday, June 9th, and as of today, June 21st, I already have about 50 pages. As I write more towards this idea, I am growing more excited about its potential. Therefore, I want to share a timeline of how I hope things will progress regarding this book.
- August 1: At this point, I hope to have my rough draft completely written.
- October 1: By October, my goal is to have the rough draft edited.
- December 2016: By the end of the year, I am striving to have found a literary agent.
- December 2017: Although I would like to publish the book sooner, my understanding of the publishing process is that it takes a long time, which is why I am giving this phase ample room for negotiation.
These are simply estimates as to when I plan to share updates on my progress. I will sprinkle the time in between updates with blog posts that I feel are relevant to you, my future readers.
